About the Trip

Mount Gedong is a popular tourist destination known for its stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the nearby islands of Lombok and the Gili Islands.

The hill is 650 meters above sea level and offers a moderate hike, with trails that take you through lush forests and along rugged ridges.

On a clear day, you can see the Gili Islands, Mount Rinjani, and the coastline of Lombok. It takes around 2-3 hours to reach the top with a 4-5 hour round trip.

What to expect from your trip

You will be picked up from your location in the morning and dropped off at the meeting point to prepare for the climb where your guide will perform a quick safety briefing before you set off. 

The climb will take around three to four hours to the summit. 

Once at the top you can relax with some refreshments and enjoy sunset.

Dinner will be served with fresh, locally sourced food afterwards you can enjoy the evening under the stars!

In the morning you can enjoy sunset with your breakfast before your descent. 

When you arrive back at the meeting point, you will be taken to a local market to experience some of our culture.

Afterwards you will be taken to a local Warung for lunch.

Once your lunch has settled you will be taken back to your pick up location.

Meals

During the trip, you'll be treated to three delicious meals;

Dinner including vegan / vegetarian options, fresh seafood, and traditional Indonesian cuisine.

Breakfast and Lunch at a local warung (restaurant)
